Weisenborn Families,

Welcome to Weisenborn Junior High School! We look forward to the 2024-2025 school year as we continue to strive towards our goals of increasing student achievement and creating an environment where all students can learn and grow. At Weisenborn, we align with our district’s “Portrait of a Warrior,” which emphasizes collaboration, communication, critical thinking, empathy, perseverance, and problem-solving. These skills will help our junior high students achieve today and excel tomorrow.

This school year, we are excited to welcome a new addition to our administrative staff. Scott Jacobs will be joining us as our 7th-grade assistant principal. Mr. Jacobs comes to us from Northmont City Schools, where he served in both teaching and administrative roles. He is a military veteran and a former varsity coach, and we believe he will be a great asset to our team. For our returning 8th graders, Mrs. Tirado will be moving up as the new 8th-grade assistant principal.

Junior high is an exciting and important time in our students’ lives as we prepare them for success in high school. Communication is a crucial part of ensuring that success. Please feel free to reach out to teachers, counselors, administrators, or the main office whenever needed. We are here to help and look forward to a great school year!

Respectfully,
Rich Thompson
